I did take some time out to design some characters for a series of minicomics, or maybe an occasional webcomic or something…

Three characters because three seems like a useful number… little hovering robots.

Type 1 is the old fashioned robot, not very bright, set in his ways…

Type 2 is the smarter one, the straight man…

Type 3 is a mass produced and very stupid drone… I think type 3 might explode a lot.

I also made some borders I may or may not use…

A Japanese bath later and nothing else is happening tonight.

I did get the next step of the toy robot project done, I painted the bodies.

As I mentioned, I ran out of some of the paints so these don’t quite match the arms and accessories, but such is life!

Also, my friend Dan came over and we played tag team soldering. He had a kit he wanted to make that makes his houseplant post to Twitter when it needs watering (no really) and I had a couple little kits I wanted to put together.

These little guys drive LEDS so they will be used sometime in the next few days.

I couldn’t actually find my big box of LEDs which is vexing, I will have to hunt around for it on Wednesday.

Then part of a movie, early bed, and sweet sweet healing sleep.

I am Will Robot and In these pages I am going to talk about my various endeavors focusing on creativity and forays into fields I know little or nothing about but figure it looks like too much fun to not give it a go.

Long before “Master of none” was sarcastically added there was “Jack of All Trades.” In my mind to know a little bit about a great deal is much more exiting than to know a great deal about a few things. I would rather be a crazy person who is good with tools than an architect, a freak that can use a soldering iron than an electrician, and someone willing to mate day glo orange with green stripes to see what happens than a designer.

This is not an attitude that gets you a good career… but it sure makes life fun.
